Worldwide, Physician-Screened Practitioner Network

CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits' online international provider directory provides detailed information on more than 3,600 prescreened doctors, dentists, hospitals, and clinics in more than 800 locations worldwide. We selected those providers whom we consider to be among the best in their geographic area, based upon a number of different selection criteria. The online directory is searchable by country, city, and specialty type. We further supplement our online network with International SOS' global database of more than 11,000 preferred medical providers outside the U.S. Our collaboration and combined pre-screened health care resources expand CIEB's global footprint and give members access to 59,640 providers outside of the U.S.

In the U.S. and Puerto Rico, CIEB members can access CIGNA HealthCare's national PPO network. The network is composed of approximately 8,200 hospitals, 266,000 primary care physicians, and 564,000 specialists, all accessible through our member web site or a telephone call to our Customer Contact Center.
