Meet our new team member: Mayra Santiago

Mayra Santiago has been a CIEB employee since 2003. March 15, 2010, Mayra joined the Provider Contracting team as a Global Health Solutions Service Associate. Her job duties include answering emails from providers in Spanish-speaking countries; providing feedback on trends; and servicing and maintaining provider relations between CIEB and providers.  Mayra can be reached via email at Mayra.Santiago@CIGNA.com.

Important Claims Submission Tip

If you have a direct billing arrangement with CIEB, you should have a provider claims coversheet specific to your information such as your vendor name, identification number, chosen payment method, preferred currency, etc.  Please use your specific coversheet with all future claim submissions to facilitate appropriate claim processing. If information on your coversheet is incorrect, needs to be updated, or you never received a claims coversheet, please email CIEBprovider@CIGNA.com.

Update on Provider EOB Emails

Providers who receive direct payments via wire transfers will now receive a remittance email and an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) each time CIEB makes a payment.  The email remittance will clearly explain the total amount of the payment in the subject of the email.  The email will contain each EOB that relates to that specific total payment.  This is intended to make it easier for providers to reconcile payments, know which services were paid for, and which are still outstanding.

Providers, please email CIEBprovider@cigna.com with your correct contact details if you are not receiving these emails. You can also contact CIEBprovider@CIGNA.com if you would like to switch from receiving checks to receiving wire transfers, which is a faster, more reliable way to receive payments.
