Member Portal
Access to coverage details and health information anywhere in the world is fundamental to successful expatriate assignments. Not only will CIEB members have access to their benefit details on CIGNAenvoy.com, but they can also print temporary ID cards, view claims history, download forms, and access health tools and services. Individuals can even search for doctors, hospitals, and specialists where they can receive local care from preferred providers.
Building upon the latest web development technology, www.CIGNAenvoy.com streamlines all of the most important tools CIEB members need. The array of resources available through www.CIGNAenvoy.com provides assistance for members during the pre-departure process and while on assignment.
Employer Portal
The employer portal on www.CIGNAenvoy.com allows employers to identify their covered employees and view plan details. It even offers user-friendly features to simplify the administration of international benefits. Employers can subscribe to the CIGNA Envoy Billing Management System, enabling online retrieval of premium invoices in PDF or spreadsheet format through a secure mailbox.
Announcing Bill Atwell As New President of CIGNA International
Bill Atwell, a former CIGNA executive, rejoined CIGNA on September 2 as President of CIGNA International. He will be reporting to David Cordani, President and Chief Operating Officer, of CIGNA Corporation. Bill brings to CIGNA more than 30 years of experience in the banking, brokerage and insurance industries both in the U.S. and abroad. Most recently, he has been a consultant for the retail financial services industry. Previously, he held a number of senior level positions at The Charles Schwab Corporation, where he was responsible for Schwab's broad array of products and services for individual investors. He also led their efforts to build its international business.
This is Bill's second tour of duty with CIGNA. From 1996 to 2000, he held the position of senior vice president, national sales and delivery network at CIGNA HealthCare, where he was responsible for significantly growing sales and membership. Previously, he was responsible for Citibank's retail banking business in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg.
"I am confident that Bill's strategic thinking, global perspective, international business experience and established track record of strong results will allow us to continue to build on the success of CIGNA International," said David Cordani, President and Chief Operating Officer.
