Another Reason to Encourage Your Employees to Provide Their Email Addresses: Automated Claims Submission Receipts
CIGNA International is dedicated to providing a positive experience to our clients. One way we can do that is by communicating with our clients’ employees and their dependents directly. Not only is the collection of valid subscriber e-mail addresses and increased utilization of CIGNA Envoy® part of a CIGNA-wide “go green” initiative, but valid subscriber e-mail addresses also allow CIGNA International to administer our clients’ benefits plans more efficiently and enhance our customer service capabilities. And now customers who provide e-mail addresses will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation upon the receipt of their claims submissions.
Electronic communications are ideally conducted via our CIGNA Envoy web portal, which provides our subscribers with all of the benefits and services of our website, eliminates manual input by our Eligibility department, and increases contact information accuracy. We encourage you to contact your Eligibility Analyst so you can participate in our email address initiative.
